We are delighted to announce that our brother Timothy Radcliffe is to be made a cardinal by Pope Francis in the consistory of 8th December.
Fr Timothy, former Master of the Order, is a Dominican preacher and theologian of global reach, and has worked tirelessly for the preaching of the Gospel and the unity of the Church. Most recently he has been asked to lead the pre-session retreats of the Synod on Synodality, and to be part of the Synod discussions, to which he is currently contributing for the month of October.
Fr Timothy is a member of the Dominican Community at Blackfriars and a Fellow of Blackfriars Hall. We look forward to celebrating with him in due course.
