November Masses for the Holy Souls
‘In the eyes of the foolish they seemed to have died,
and their departure was thought to be an affliction…
but they are at peace’. Wisdom 3:2–3
During the month of November, it is customary for Catholics to remember in prayer their departed family members and friends. The friars at Blackfriars Priory welcome the opportunity to offer the holy sacrifice of the Mass for these holy souls.
When asking for Masses to be offered, it is customary to make a donation (though not essential if you cannot afford to do so – to share your intentions without making an offering, please get in touch). This donation helps to cover the living costs of the friars and the running costs of the church.

You can use the form below to request a Mass and make a donation using a payment card. The form will also give you the option to provide the names you would like written into our November Dead List. If you have any difficulty using the form, or cannot afford to make a donation, please contact us.
Please note, cash donations can be made using the envelopes available in church.
