Fr John Church’s First Mass

On Monday evening, our newly ordained priest, Fr John Bernard Church OP, said his first Mass in Oxford.
The ordination of Fr John Church, Fr Daniel Rowlands, and Br Giovanni Castellano took place on Saturday at the hands of our brother, Archbishop Malcolm McMahon OP.
Please pray for Fr John as he prepares to move to the Dominican community at Holy Cross, Leicester, which will be his base for leading young adults’ ministry.
Br Giovanni will be with us still for his diaconal year.
We thank you all for your continuing support for our student brothers as they prepare for ordination, and wish you all a blessed and restful summer.
NOTE: This is also the last 6 pm weekday Mass of the vacation. There will be no 6 pm weekday Mass from Tuesday 8 July until Friday 3 October inclusive. 7.30 am Mass and all our Sunday Masses continue as usual.
